Pir Fazlullah ( Bura Hazrat) Rah:

He was born in 1929/1930 in Bamni area of ​​Greater Noakhali district. His grandfather Hazrat Maulana Azimuddin Baghdadi (Rah :) first came from Baghdad during the Mughal period to spread Islam in India. In Parbati, his son Sufi Nur Mohammad established a permanent residence in Noakhali Bamni area. Later in 175/6, the late Bura Hazrat (Rah :) established a permanent residence at Keroa village in the present Raipur upazila from Bamni for the purpose of propagating Islam and reforming the society. His father, the late Hazrat Maulana Sufi Nur Mohammad (Rah :) became known as Bhuiyan after receiving zamindari from the then ruler of East Bengal. Sufi Nur Mohammad (Rah :), the father of the late Bura Hazrat, received all religious education including Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic, Persian. In Parbati, he received Shariat education and caliphate from his Pir Morshed Maulana Imamuddin (Rah :). He established more than three hundred mosques and madrasas in Noakhali, Feni, Comilla, Chandpur, Hajiganj, Laxmipur, Raipur and Ramgati areas including Raipur Bara Mosque, Raipur Alia Madrasa, Hajiganj Jame Mosque for the purpose of propagating Islam and social reform.
